He spoke of those raised in the cavern, knowing only candlelight as the one and only true light.   Plato spoke of coming out of the cavern&#8217;s darkness, up into the blinding sunlight of knowledge. Of returning to those left behind, and how they would not listen, could not be cajoled to follow.  To go where only brave souls venture first, those in the caves would have to be dragged out.  </p>
<p>At the crux of this story is one question&#8230;should you force knowledge upon an unwilling recipient, if by your experience you determine it is for their own good?</p>
